Cancellations and refunds
How to cancel, who can issue a refund, and how to see its real status.
A free RSVP can be cancelled from the event page or from My Karma. Please do cancel — it frees the place for someone else.
Paid orders
Refunds are issued by the organizer of the event, or by a Sound of Karma administrator. There is no button that refunds you automatically, and no timeframe is promised here.
- Ask the organizer first. The event page has a Questions and logistics section where you can write to them.
- If you cannot reach them, use Contact us below with the event and the date you paid.
- Watch the order in My Karma: it only shows refunded once the payment processor confirms the money was actually returned.
A refund request is not a refund. Access to a paid event or recording is withdrawn only when the refund actually succeeds.
What you are entitled to, and who acts on it
Two different things: what you are owed, and who presses the button. If an event is cancelled or materially changed by the organizer, our published terms say attendees are refunded in full, including the platform fee. That right stands. Beyond that, the cancellation window for a specific event or session is the one the organizer stated on that listing.
In every case the refund is actually issued by the organizer or by a Sound of Karma administrator. Nothing on the site returns money to you by itself, so if you are owed a refund and it has not arrived, ask the organizer and then contact us.
A full refund withdraws the entitlement you bought once it succeeds. A partial refund does not by itself remove your access. Separately from any refund, a cancelled event or an expired access window can stop access on its own.
