Cancelling a membership or sponsorship
Turn off renewal in My Karma; you keep what you already paid for until the paid-through date.
- Sign in and open My Karma.
- Find the monthly payment and choose Cancel renewals.
- The card shows the paid-through date. Renewal stops; nothing further is charged.
You keep what you already paid for until the paid-through date shown on the card. Cancelling is confirmed only once the change actually succeeds — if it does not confirm, nothing has changed yet.
If a future renewal payment fails, that unpaid period does not start: you are not charged for it and no new month of access begins. It does not erase the period you already paid for. Past payments are not reversed by cancelling — ask the host if you believe a payment should be refunded.
A Community Sponsorship carries no membership benefits at any point, whether it renews or not.
If a host changes their price or benefits, existing terms are kept for existing members; new terms apply to new sign-ups.
